Heaven's Windows:
Serving the Community
Heaven’s Window is a charitable organization and community resource network in San Diego County aiming to help improve the lives of families, senior citizens, migrants, un-housed individuals, children, and more. We work to connect people with various resources to help overcome food insecurity in our local community.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) combats hunger and brings healthy foods to children in afterschool programs. This federal USDA program provides Heaven's Windows the opportunity to serve nutritious meals and snacks to children and to meal sites in San Diego County. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, where children congregate at afterschool programs and activities.
