Heaven’s Windows collects, purchases, and stores food at our centralized warehouse facility, and distributes the food to families, individuals, other nonprofits and social service agencies through our food pantry in the Resource Network Center. The majority of the food we distribute is in the form of emergency food packages and produce.  Food Rescue Program  provides items rescued from local stores, such as meat, dairy, bakery, deli and groceries. Individuals or families receive a monthly distribution using our computerized system of recording visits.

The Resource Network Center is the site that also distributes the Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) which is zip code based, facilitated by Jacob & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. However, we provide food packages to clients outside the EFAP zip codes if necessary.

We operate as Community Food Distribution site for the San Diego Food Bank, distributing fresh produce monthly at New Seasons Church every 4th Tuesday at 9:30 am while supplies last. Betty's Closet provides non-food resources. We distribute gently used clothing for men, women, children and infants at no cost. When available, we provide diapers, formula, car seats, cribs, high chairs, etc. The baby items donated are provided through collaboration with the East County Pregnancy Care Clinic for distribution to families.
